Laura Scaglione manages sponsorships for Re/code events, working closely with clients and partners. Most recently, Laura worked at Atlantic Media, helping to launch an events division for Quartz and managing sales. Prior to that, Laura oversaw event sponsorships for The Wall Street Journal and D: All Things Digital, where she worked closely with Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher on the well-known series of conferences. Laura began her career in media sales at Crain Communications, where she quickly found a niche in the events space. Laura graduated summa cum laude from Florida State University and holds a dual BS in communications and international affairs.
